Here's what you can expect

• Strategic Procurement & Strategy Development: Development and implementation of product group strategies, conducting market and price analyses, and the ongoing refinement of procurement processes
• Operational Procurement & Order Processing: Preparation and coordination of order proposals, independent order processing and monitoring of deadlines in ASW/SAP
• Supplier & Relationship Management: Selection, qualification and negotiation of contracts and terms with suppliers, including travel for on-site visits and trade fair appearances
• Central Costing & Target Prices: Preparation of product and variant costings, carrying out post-production costings and variance analyses, as well as defining target prices based on costings to inform decision-making
• Interface Coordination & Data Quality: Close collaboration with internal departments (e.g. Engineering, Production, Controlling) as well as maintenance of master data, bills of materials and costing schemas

What you need to bring

• Training & Qualifications: Successfully completed commercial or technical training, e.g. as a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d), industrial business administrator (m/f/d) or, alternatively, a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering 
• Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Several years’ experience in strategic and operational procurement, in-depth knowledge of supplier management and contract management, as well as strong negotiation skills
• IT & language skills: Very good knowledge of MS Excel, optional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, business fluency in German (C1) and a good command of English
• Personal skills: Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, assertiveness, ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to travel
