2. Collection and storage of personal data, and the nature and purpose of its use
a) When visiting the website
When you access our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected automatically without any action on your part and is stored until it is automatically deleted:
- IP address of the requesting computer,
- date and time of access,
- name and URL of the file accessed,
- website from which the access is made (referrer URL),
- the browser used and, where applicable, your computer’s operating system, as well as the name of your internet service provider.
We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes: - to ensure the website connects smoothly,
- to ensure a user-friendly experience on our website,
- to evaluate system security and stability, and
- for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes of data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your identity.
In addition, we use cookies and analytics services when you visit our website. Further details on this can be found in sections 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.
b) When using our contact form
If you have any enquiries, we offer you the option of contacting us via a form provided on the website. You must provide a valid email address so that we know who the enquiry is from and can reply to it. You may provide further details on a voluntary basis.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, point (a) of the GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent.
The personal data we collect when you use the contact form will be automatically deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with.
3. Disclosure of data
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.
We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:
- you have given your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, point (a) of the GDPR,
- the disclosure is necessary pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
- interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
- in the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose data pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, point (c) of the GDPR, as well as
- this is permitted by law and is necessary, in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, point (b) of the GDPR, for the performance of contractual relationships with you.
4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser creates automatically and which are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware.
The cookie stores information relating to the specific device being used. However, this does not mean that we thereby gain direct knowledge of your identity.
The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make your experience of our website more pleasant. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our site.

a) Tracking tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We use these tracking measures to ensure that our website is designed to meet your needs and to optimise it on an ongoing basis. Furthermore, we use the tracking measures to collect statistical data on the use of our website and to analyse this data for the purpose of optimising our offering for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

6. Social media plug-ins
On our website, we use social plug-ins from the social network Facebook on the basis of Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR in order to raise our profile. The underlying promotional purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for ensuring that these plug-ins are operated in compliance with data protection regulations lies with their respective providers.
a) YouTube
We use the service provider YouTube (part of Google) to embed videos. Like most such websites, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses these, amongst other things, to compile video statistics, prevent fraud and improve user-friendliness. This also results in a connection being established with the Google DoubleClick network.

7. Data subjects’ rights
You have the right:
- in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information regarding the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recöto whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or the right to object, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data where it was not collected by us, as well as information on the existence of automated decision-making, includingprofiling, and, where applicable, meaningful information regarding the details thereof;
- in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR, to request without delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data or the completion of your personal data stored by us;
- in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expressionand information, to comply with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- in accordance with Article 18 of the GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, provided that you contest the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer require the data, although you require it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR;
- in accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR, to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request that it be transferred to another data controller;
- in accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR, to withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in future, and
- in accordance with Article 77 of the GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority for your usual place of residence, your place of work or our registered office for this purpose.
8. Right to object
Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, you have the right, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data, provided there are grounds arising from your particular situation or the objection relates to direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will honour without you needing to specify a particular situation.

9. Data security
During your visit to the website, we use the widely adopted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we will use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether a particular page on our website is being transmitted securely by the closed key or padlock symbol in the status bar at the bottom of your browser.
We also employ appropriate technical and organisational security measuresto protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties.
