Many young people opt for vocational training after finishing school. This is because, nowadays, a strong practical focus and working within a company offer excellent career prospects – compelling arguments in favour of a ‘hands-on’ start to working life.
Whether it’s a commercial, industrial or technical training – at FRICKE, the conditions are ideal. As a family-run business with strong regional roots and a global presence, the FRICKE Group offers apprentices first-class training conditions in a friendly atmosphere. Apprentices at the FRICKE Group do not learn alone, as every year in August up to ninety apprentices and dual students start their training programmes together within the company.
Our apprentices are supported, closely supervised and trained by experienced and qualified staff. In the process, they not only become closely involved in day-to-day work, including the necessary practical experience, but are also optimally prepared for their exams and for successfully completing their training. It is no coincidence that the FRICKE Group’s apprentices are regularly among the best graduates of their year groups.

FRICKE Group: Top-class facilities
All of the FRICKE Group’s training centres, technical facilities and machinery are state-of-the-art. Our in-house FRICKE Academy enables our apprentices to acquire many additional skills alongside the traditional training curriculum. We also encourage interaction and team spirit amongst our approximately 300 apprentices through apprentice events, functions and joint activities.
Supporting our apprentices is particularly important to us. An in-house English course takes place every two weeks. We also offer training courses through the FRICKE Academy Office, most of which are compulsory parts of the apprenticeship programme. Regular apprentice meetings foster interaction amongst the apprentices and strengthen the sense of community. Furthermore, regular feedback meetings are held to discuss and review progress. If interested, a period abroad is also possible during the apprenticeship.
At the end of their comprehensive training, our young professionals have a wide range of career opportunities and prospects open to them – including within the entire group of companies. The FRICKE Group does not view itself merely as a training organisation out of a sense of social responsibility. It actually regards training as an investment in its future employees, trainers and managers.
Anyone who successfully completes their apprenticeship with the FRICKE Group has excellent prospects of embarking on a genuine career within the company. It is no coincidence that the majority of FRICKE apprentices continue to work for our company even years after completing their apprenticeship.
