Industrial Engineering – Course Structure
A dual study programme at the FRICKE Group offers interesting insights into day-to-day work and business processes. A dual study programme with the FRICKE Group always starts on 1 August each year.
With us, you have the opportunity to tailor your dual study programme to your individual needs: by freely choosing a specialisation, you can focus on a specific area and explore your interests in greater depth.
You can choose from the following specialisations:
- Green Engineering
- Digital Business
- International Business
- Logistics & Process Management
Alternatively, you can study Industrial Engineering without a specialisation and therefore choose Engineering & Management.
After a course duration of 3.5 years, you will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree. During their studies, dual students at the FRICKE Group acquire fundamental scientific knowledge in business administration and engineering. They gain experience in various departments and specialist areas. Many of our students even spend part of their studies abroad.
What to expect
A dual study programme with a company in the FRICKE Group opens up many prospects and opportunities. As a dual-study industrial engineering student at FRICKE, you’ll get to know all the processes and procedures of a family-run business. You’ll gain in-depth insights into business management processes. You’ll take on business-related tasks and will also be involved in technical matters.
Your training takes place alternately at a company within the FRICKE Group and at renowned universities or universities of applied sciences. During their studies, our students have the opportunity to choose an individual focus for their training, enabling them to specialise in a particular field, for example.
A training programme as part of a dual study programme at the FRICKE Group lasts a total of 3.5 years.
- Duration of studies: 7 semesters
- Study locations: FRICKE Group and university / university of applied sciences
- Course content: Compulsory business and technical modules as part of the curriculum at the university / university of applied sciences, practical placements at the FRICKE Group to learn about business processes, commercial activities, the implementation of marketing measures and technical issues. Part of the training takes place abroad.
- Degree: Bachelor of Science
What you should bring to the role
The FRICKE Group offers its dual students in-depth and interesting insights into day-to-day working life and also into extensive business processes.
A prerequisite for a dual study programme at the FRICKE Group is a good A-level or vocational A-level. You should, of course, have an interest in commercial work and business management contexts. Our dual students can expect challenging tasks and projects that require a high degree of commitment, motivation and initiative.
