Automotive Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) – Training programme
The training programme to become an Automotive Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) lasts three and a half years. Don’t be put off by large vehicles, as as part of the training programme, apprentices in this specialism at the FRICKE Group specialise in commercial vehicle technology.

The training programme consists of classroom-based and practical modules. Working on various makes and models means the scope of work is particularly varied. During their training, our apprentices learn everything there is to know about commercial vehicles. As well as the basics of working on vehicles, they are also taught how to service and repair commercial vehicles and how to repair various parts and components. Furthermore, apprentices in the field of automotive mechatronics, specialising in commercial vehicle technology, gain an insight into dealing with customers.

What you should bring to the role

The entry requirements for an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d) are a secondary school leaving certificate or a good lower secondary school leaving certificate. You should, of course, have an interest in technical matters and, in particular, in commercial vehicles. Interesting tasks and projects await our apprentices. A basic understanding of technology and manual dexterity are certainly an advantage.
