Here's what you can expect
- Providing expert support for financial statements prepared in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB): Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Actively supporting the preparation of consolidated financial statements: Assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial statements as part of group-wide financial processes
- Reliably preparing tax returns: Preparing advance VAT returns, summary returns (ZM) and other relevant returns
- Driving projects and processes forward: Collaborating on cross-departmental and cross-divisional projects, as well as supporting the optimisation of processes and digitalisation
- Supporting audits and inspections: Assisting with internal and external audits as well as tax inspections
- Helping to shape SAP rollouts: Supporting ongoing SAP implementations and rollouts
What you need to bring
- Education & Qualifications: Successfully completed further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) or a degree, preferably specialising in finance / accounting / bookkeeping, or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Initial professional experience would be an advantage, for example in accounting or auditing
- IT & Language Skills: Proficiency in Excel and a strong aptitude for working with numbers
- Personal Skills: A meticulous and independent approach to work, as well as the ability to think across organisational structures and processes
