From our 95,000 m² central warehouse in Heeslingen, Lower Saxony, we supply specialist dealers and workshops across Europe, the USA and Canada.

At our Granit Service Centre, we offer our specialist trade customers specialised services and repairs in the fields of diesel technology, electrics/electronics, hydraulics, engines, driver’s seats, as well as drivetrain and vehicle technology.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated workshop assistant (m/f/d) specialising in hydraulics, diesel technology or driver’s seats.

Here's what you can expect

Depending on your area of specialisation, you will work in one of the following two departments:

Hydraulics Service:

Processing hydraulic hoses: Cutting and crimping all types of hydraulic hoses
Manufacturing lines: Production of fuel and injection lines
Carrying out assembly: Configuration and assembly of drive shafts

Diesel technology:

Repairing diesel injection systems: Work in the field of diesel injection technology using modern diagnostic and mechanical equipment
Carrying out maintenance and repairs: Inspection, overhaul, adjustment and repair of all types of injection pumps and injectors
Manufacturing hoses: Manufacture of fuel and injection hoses
Assisting with fault-finding: Assistance in rectifying technical faults

Driver’s seats:

Seat refurbishment: Inspection, adjustment and repair of mechanical and pneumatic driver’s seats
Implementing custom configurations: Assembly and customisation of high-quality driver’s seats to customer specifications
Quality control: Inspection of components using modern measuring equipment
Teamwork: Close collaboration with experienced colleagues in the workshop environment

What you need to bring

Training & Qualifications: Ideally, a completed apprenticeship, e.g. as an agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician (m/f/d), passenger and commercial vehicle mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d); however, we are also happy to give career changers and those new to the sector a chance
Language skills: Good command of German
Personal skills: Ability to work independently and a willingness to learn
