Here's what you can expect
- Evaluating & testing innovative solutions: Identifying, evaluating and testing new solutions for the future design of supply chain processes
- Further developing purchase-to-pay processes: Continuous optimisation of procurement and supply chain processes through digitalisation and the further development of ERP and planning systems
- Identifying weaknesses & leading optimisation projects: Independently identifying process & IT weaknesses and managing cross-functional projects to improve them
- Managing and further developing SAP modules: Responsibility for the underlying (SAP) IT modules, from identifying the need for changes through to operational coordination with internal IT interfaces, right through to the execution and approval of tests
- Actively shaping change management: Ensuring successful and sustainable optimisation through stakeholder engagement, change management and effective communication when coordinating roadmaps, milestones and business objectives
- Establishing governance & transparency: Defining global frameworks, KPIs and governance strategies to increase transparency within the supply chain
What you need to bring
- Education & Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable discipline
- Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Several years’ professional experience in consultancy or the management of global procurement processes, as well as experience in project management with a proven track record of success
- IT & language skills: Strong IT skills and a good understanding of processes, systems, data structures and process automation; practical experience with ERP and procurement systems, in particular SAP (MM, PP, EWM); Knowledge of specialised forecasting and planning solutions is an advantage; business-fluent German (minimum C1) and very good written and spoken English
- Personal skills: Strong communication and persuasion skills, right up to top management level, as well as a genuine interest in digital solutions and process automation
