Here's what you can expect
- Preparing for and supporting negotiations: Supporting Product Management in contract and price negotiations with existing and potential suppliers in the workshop equipment sector
- Optimising and maintain: Optimisation, maintenance and monitoring of product and supplier master data
- Coordinate data acquisition: Obtaining product-related information from suppliers for product creation and online shop presentation
- Creating catalogues & strengthening our own brands: Assisting with catalogue production and contributing to the further development of our own brands
- Actively managing interfaces: Close collaboration with internal departments such as Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Planning or Quality
- Monitoring markets: Ongoing procurement market research and trend analyses in the field of modern workshop technology
- Attending trade fairs: Attending trade fairs to maintain contacts and monitor the market
What you need to bring
- Training & Qualifications: Completed commercial or technical training, e.g. as a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d), passenger and commercial vehicle mechatronics technician (m/f/d), further training as a certified specialist consultant in workshop equipment (m/f/d) or a completed degree (e.g. industrial engineering, business administration)
- Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Initial professional experience in product management, procurement or category management; ideally, an understanding of workshop equipment, tools or diagnostic systems
- IT & language skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, business fluency in German (C1) and a good command of written and spoken English
- Personal skills: Good communication skills, technical understanding, analytical thinking, and a willingness to undertake a limited amount of international travel
