The goods are shipped throughout Europe from our 90,000m² central warehouse in Heeslingen and we thus support more than 40,000 specialist dealers and workshops throughout Europe.

We are looking for you to expand our team at the Tholey site as a

Plant technician / mechatronics engineer (m/f/d)

We are currently building our latest logistics center as a southern expansion with a state-of-the-art shuttle warehouse that offers space for 230,000 containers. Assembly of the plant technology is scheduled to start in spring 2025 - and you have the unique opportunity to be part of it right from the start. Accompany the construction of the plant and become part of the team that will help shape the successful start-up. To begin with, you will receive weekly training at our partner company, a plant manufacturer in Pirmasens, to prepare you for the new challenges.

Your tasks

• Control and monitoring of the conveyor material flow and warehouse technology
• Supervision of projects and optimization measures
• Maintenance, servicing, repairs, troubleshooting and fault rectification on the storage, picking & conveying technology
• Determining the technical condition of the machines and systems
• Performing general maintenance work and documenting the activities carried out
• Evaluation of malfunctions for continuous process improvement
• Implementation of preventive maintenance measures to maximize system availability
• Replacement / parameterization / adjustment of the sensors used (e.g. light barriers, scanners, data light barriers, distance sensors)

Your profile

• Completed training in the technical field, e.g. as an electrician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), electrical engineer (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), operating technician (m/f/d), electronics technician for energy & building services engineering (m/f/d)
• Skilled craftsmanship and an independent way of working
• PLC knowledge is an advantage
• Team spirit, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility
• Good knowledge of German
