Opening celebration in Denmark - New offices for our Scandinavian colleagues

After a long construction period and several delays, the time has finally come. The colleagues from GRANIT Denmark can move into their new offices.

Due to a lack of space and outdated premises, GRANIT PARTS in Denmark had long dreamed of moving to modern and functional office premises. Now this dream has become reality. However, it was a long process, which is why the joy of the new premises is now all the greater.

The move to the new offices required a lot of time and various decisions, big and small. Our photo collage gives you a good insight into the development that has taken place since we took over the new address in Aabenraa in January 2024. Since then, there has been a lot to do to thoroughly renovate the premises and adapt them to the specific requirements of modern and functional office workplaces.

The employees were actively involved throughout the entire design process and were able to pass on their ideas and wishes to the commissioned architects. Electricians, carpenters, bricklayers, painters and ventilation specialists worked for months to complete the new offices. Unfortunately, there were still some delays, which meant that the planned move-in date had to be postponed several times. In the end, however, we were able to celebrate the big moving day at the end of October 2024.

With the move to the new address Kresten Philipsens Vej 4C, GRANIT Denmark has reached an important milestone, which was of course duly celebrated! On January 23rd, Hans Peter Fricke, Managing Director of the FRICKE Group, visited us for the official office opening. The corks popped and we celebrated with sparkling wine and traditional Danish “Kransekage".

Among the guests were GRANIT PARTS COO Boris Schöpplein, all Danish employees, but also colleagues from Germany, Sweden and Finland, as the inauguration ceremony was combined with a Scandinavian field service conference. Presentations on the topics of gardening/forestry, hydraulics, GRANIT Webshop, GRANIT Partner Shop and construction machinery industry also took place on this day.

In the evening, the celebrations continued at the Hotel Europa, where a three-course dinner was served, followed by drinks at the bar.

We are particularly proud that our new office now offers great meeting facilities, an inviting canteen and - most importantly - more space for productive work.
