Mathis visited our agricultural machinery dealership in Poland, FRICKE Maszyny Rolnicze, as a dual agricultural management student.
UncategorizedZurückFRICKE Maszyny Rolnicze, which means FRICKE agricultural machinery, has been active in the agricultural sector since 1997 and has been an authorized dealer for the John Deere brand since 2003. The company has a total of 11 locations spread across north-eastern Poland. The head office is in Warsaw. This is where our dual student Mathis spent two months to provide on-site support.
Mathis started his dual study program in Agricultural Management at the FRICKE Group in summer 2022. He was already born with a connection to agriculture. He learned how to drive a tractor on his cousin's farm as soon as he was able to pedal the clutch. When choosing his degree course, the mix of business and agricultural subjects was particularly important to him. This is how his path led him to the FRICKE Group.
He was able to gain his first experience in Poland last year when he was there with Adrian Fricke for the AGRO Show. This led to his current stay, which will last a total of two months..
Mathis' largest project revolves around the development and expansion of online sales for used machines. This includes the integration of MPO, a machine management system that maps the process of evaluation, listing and sales support. MPO offers a seamless connection to various online exchanges. The project brought Mathis into contact with many of his Polish colleagues, so he made a lot of contacts during the two months.
Right at the beginning, I visited many of the FRICKE Maszyny Rolnicze sites in the north-east of Poland with a colleague. As a result, I've already seen a lot of the country and met a lot of nice people.
Mathis on his experiences so far
During his stay at FRICKE Maszyny Rolnicze, Mathis took the opportunity to explore the country a little. A visit to Masuria, long bike rides along the Vistula, which flows through Warsaw, and a trip to Gdansk were not to be missed. But he was particularly impressed by the international city of Warsaw. The different facets of the city, from old prefabricated buildings and the beautiful old town on the one hand to modern skyscrapers on the other, impressively illustrate the city's contrasts.
Visits to various field days were also on the program. In Pasłęk, grassland technology from SAMASZ was presented and in Kozłowo, the new John Deere S7 combine harvester was unveiled. Mathis was able to deepen his knowledge of the various makes directly on site.
We would like to thank Mathis for the many insights into his work in Poland at FRICKE Maszyny Rolnicze!
