TREX.PARTS is a joint venture founded in 2018 by Jungheinrich AG and the FRICKE Group. With a constantly growing range of spare parts for material handling equipment, the company supplies customers around the world. To meet the growing demands of its international business, TREX.PARTS has significantly expanded its logistics operations in Sittensen – in a building that was once an important employer for the region.

A New Milestone for TREX.PARTS

With its third logistics site, TREX.PARTS is creating additional space for its growing product range and increasing order volumes. Due to the company’s continuous growth, the two existing sites were increasingly reaching their capacity limits.

The additional space provides increased storage capacity and creates the foundation for the company’s continued development and international expansion.

From Textile Factory to Modern Logistics Center

Anyone driving from Sittensen towards Heeslingen will know the striking white building on Lindenstraße in Sittensen. For many decades, the building has been a familiar part of the local landscape and has a unique history.

The building was originally constructed in the 1940s and served as a textile factory for many years. Even back then, the site was an important employer for people in the region.

Today, the building is beginning a new chapter. Where textiles were once produced, spare parts for material handling equipment are now stored, picked and prepared for shipment around the world. The combination of a historic industrial building and modern logistics makes the site a unique part of TREX.PARTS’s development.

Aus Alt wird Neu: Umfangreiche Sanierung des Standortes

The historic building underwent extensive renovation and modernization to prepare it for its new use as a modern logistics site. As part of the renovation, the building received a new roof and flooring, among other upgrades. TREX.PARTS was responsible for fully equipping the site. This includes new storage systems, such as a high-bay warehouse and shelving systems, as well as new forklifts and cleaning machines. In addition to the additional logistics space, the site also provides around 20 office workstations for colleagues.

The former industrial building has thus been transformed into a modern logistics site that is ideally suited to the needs of an internationally operating spare parts company.

More Than Doubling Storage Capacity

With the opening of its third site in May 2026, TREX.PARTS has expanded its logistics space from around 6,000 to more than 13,000 square meters, more than doubling its available space.

The new hall provides additional storage capacity for the growing product range and space for various logistics operations. In addition to storage areas, the site includes dedicated areas for goods receiving, order picking and shipping, as well as around 20 office workstations.

A Look Behind the Scenes: Open Day

On May 23, TREX.PARTS opened the doors of its new logistics site on Lindenstraße to the public. Numerous visitors from Sittensen and the surrounding area took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes.

During guided tours of the hall, visitors could see the journey a spare part takes – from goods receiving and storage to shipping. The positive response highlighted the strong interest in the company and its new site within the local community.

Ready for the Future

The expansion of the logistics site marks an important step in the further development of TREX.PARTS. The additional storage space and modern equipment provide the necessary capacity to handle increasing order volumes in the future.

With the expansion, TREX.PARTS now has the capacity it needs in Sittensen for the years ahead.
