Here's what you can expect
- Targeted development of the product range: Development and strategic expansion of our product range across various product areas
- Managing procurement: Strategic selection, evaluation and management of suppliers, as well as decisions regarding the product range
- Conducting negotiations: Conducting negotiations on terms and contracts with international suppliers
- Analysing market developments: Carrying out market and competitive analyses to identify trends and potential for optimisation
- Visiting partners: Organising and attending trade fairs, as well as visiting suppliers both at home and abroad
- Implementing marketing activities: Working closely with the marketing team to plan and implement marketing activities for our products
- Assessing and optimising quality: Collaborating with the quality assurance team to analyse and optimise product quality
What you need to bring
- Training & Qualifications: Completed commercial or technical training, e.g. as a wholesale and foreign trade management assistant (m/f/d) or an industrial business administration assistant (m/f/d); alternatively, a degree, e.g. in Agricultural Management / Agricultural Economics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
- Professional experience & specialist knowledge: Professional experience in product management, procurement, strategic sourcing, product group management, category management or technical development – ideally in the field of agricultural machinery; we are also happy to give career starters the opportunity to join us as Junior Product Managers (m/f/d); technical understanding and an interest in our product areas
- IT & language skills: Very good knowledge of MS Excel, optional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, business fluency in German (C1) and good command of English
- Personal qualities: Confident manner, intercultural competence and negotiation skills for international procurement; the ability to work independently and in a structured manner, good teamwork skills and a willingness to travel
