Quick overview

Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) – Training Programme

The training programme to become a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) lasts three and a half years. As part of the training programme, apprentices in this specialism at the FRICKE Group specialise in conveyor technology.

The training programme consists of classroom-based and practical modules. Working on the mechanical and electrical components of a conveyor system makes this field of work particularly varied. During their training, our apprentices learn everything there is to know about plant engineering. As well as the basics of working on conveyor systems, they are also shown how to maintain and repair a conveyor system using state-of-the-art technology, and how to service various parts and components.

What you should bring to the role

The FRICKE Group offers its apprentices in-depth and interesting insights into day-to-day working life and comprehensive work processes.

To train as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), you must have a secondary school leaving certificate or a good lower secondary school leaving certificate. You should, of course, have an interest in mechanical and electrical systems. Our apprentices can also look forward to interesting tasks and projects. A basic understanding of technology and manual dexterity are therefore certainly an advantage.

You can find out more about the day-to-day work of our apprentices on our FRICKE careers blog.

Career prospects after the apprenticeship

Following an interesting apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d), a range of career prospects open up – including, of course, within the FRICKE Group. For us, apprentices represent an investment in future employees, training supervisors and managers. That is why we are happy to support individual and meaningful further training initiatives later on – which is why our motto is “Challenge through support”.

Training opportunities include, for example, technical specialisations or further training to become an industrial foreman (m/f/d) or a technical business administrator (m/f/d). A degree course would also be one way to deepen your knowledge and gain additional qualifications.
