With the GRANIT division, we offer specialist dealers in Europe agricultural machinery, garden technology, construction machinery and commercial vehicle spare parts from a single source. The goods are shipped throughout Europe from our 90,000m² central warehouse in Heeslingen and we thus support more than 40,000 specialist dealers and workshops throughout Europe.

Trainee Sales / Business Development (m/f/d) Africa
We offer you a structured start to your career in which you will pass through various areas of our sales organization and get to know different areas of the company. This will enable you to take on initial responsibility for your own sales country in the next step and, if you wish, continue to build this up locally, e.g. in AfricaIdeally, you already have an affinity for agriculture / agricultural technology and / or initial practical experience in the agricultural sector Do you enjoy active customer contact, have sales talent and persuasive skills? Your tasks
- Direct communication with our business partners at home and abroad
- Participate in national and international project meetings and trade shows
- Supporting the export management in the strategic development of the business activities abroad
- Planning and organizing various sales activities and marketing campaigns at the POS
- Taking responsibility for sales, budget and results for markets abroad in the medium term
- Conduct presentations, trainings and workshops
- Coordinate with cross-project and cross-functional departments
- Designing the digital platforms of the business partners in collaboration with the e-commerce team
- Independent and constant market and competition monitoring
Your profile
- Completed commercial vocational training, e.g. as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade management (m/f/d) and/or completed studies in the field of economics, business administration or a comparable course of study
- Business fluent in English, ideally initial knowledge of German and ideally other foreign languages (e.g. French)
- Basic industry knowledge (agricultural engineering, automotive or comparable technical areas)
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications
- Team skills, quick comprehension, high resilience and flexibility
- Independent and structured way of working paired with high quality standards
- Willingness to travel at home and abroad to support projects
