FRICKE School Work Experience
A so-called “school work experience placement” takes place as part of the school curriculum and teaching programme whilst school students are still at school. A school work experience placement can help school students make the right career choice, get a taste of a job, or even deepen the professional skills and knowledge they have already acquired.
school students therefore undertake – sooner or later in their school career – voluntary work placements or even compulsory ones, such as school work placements, which are usually part of the curriculum in the ninth or tenth year of school.
An internship is right for you if:
- You’re not quite sure yet which career might be the right one for you in the future. An internship lasting several weeks offers you guidance and helps you make a decision.
- You’re already interested in a particular career path, but you’re still lacking deeper insights. This allows you to find out which specialist area suits you best.
- You’d like to gain a realistic insight into day-to-day working life before choosing a company for your apprenticeship. An internship shows you the processes, tasks and the team first-hand on site.
The FRICKE Group offers a wide range of work experience placements, work experience roles and work experience opportunities across all areas of the business, giving you a variety of options. We offer:
- Work experience placement (two or three weeks – e.g. to get a taste of the company and working life)
- Work placement (lasting several weeks for school leavers – e.g. to narrow down your career choices)
- Voluntary work placement during the school holidays
- School work experience as part of the curriculum / lessons
There is one thing that all these work experience placements – and, of course, the work experience positions offered by companies within the FRICKE Group – have in common: School students gain a comprehensive insight into actual work processes, are given real tasks and projects, and usually spend time in various departments.
An internship at a company within the FRICKE Group offers initial guidance on the path to working life, provides insights into various career fields and gives the reassuring feelingthat they have a rough idea of what their future working day will be like. Regardless of this, the vast majority of interns find their time at FRICKE a great deal of fun.
